QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Want to order a 3 wood and want a shaft length of 41 inches. What size shaft should I order.
Standard length for the Pinhawk fairway woods is 42", so if you want a 41" shaft length then you would select -1" short for the length.

I purchased pinhawk sl irons , left handed, will pinhawk sl woods be available left handed any time soon . Thanks Ed
From what we've been told by the manufacturer there will not be any left-handed Pinhaw fairway woods being made. But Wishon Golf is releasing some single length left handed fairway woods towards the end of the year.

For the shorter lengths on fairway woods, 41”, etc do you maintain the same lie angle and swing weight as at 42”?
The fairway woods are designed to be made at 42" as the standard length, so if you go shorter than that - such as 41" - then the swingweight will be about 6pts lighter and the effective lie angle will be about 2° flatter. If you would like them to retain close to the same swingweight at 41" we would need to install 10 gram tip weights to bring the SW back up by 5pts. And the 2° difference in effective lie isn't really a big deal with fairway woods since they have a curved sole and a low enough loft that lie angle isn't going to affect direction as much as it would on a higher lofted club.

Is the swing weight the same through the 7-5-9 woods, I have the 3 wood and am considering these to add if they are similar.
Yes all of the single length fairway woods have the same head weight are made to the same length, so they will all have the same swingweight.

Does Pinhawk make a single length Driver, I didn’t see one advertized
Unfortunately they do not. The only two single length drivers on the market are the ones shown on our website, which are the Acer XV Thriver (which is out of stock until end of September) and the In1Zone.

I currently hit 3, 4, and 5 rescue clubs. They are my go-to clubs out of the rough. How well can I expect the fairway woods to perform out of the rough?
Hybrid/rescue clubs cut through the rough a little better than fairway woods because they have a narrower body, so there is less drag and less chance of the club getting caught up in it if the rough is really thick. That being said, the fairway woods have lower lofts than the hybrids so they will naturally hit the ball further, so any loss of clubhead speed due to the head getting caught up in the grass may result in about the same distance as a well struck hybrid shot. So it really just comes down to whichever you feel more comfortable hitting - a longer lower lofted club, or a shorter higher lofted club.

Doe the Pinhawk fairway woods come with head covers?
We do have the matching Pinhawk fairway wood head covers available for $7 each. If you would like to add those, on the shopping cart page just include a note that you would like to add head covers and then we will add them to the order once we receive it and send you an invoice for payment.

Do you have Pinhawk single length drivers I am 5ft 7in
Unfortunately there is no Pinhawk single length driver. The only single length drivers, which are made to 5-wood length just like the rest of the single length woods, are the InZone and the Acer Thriver. The InZone comes in a variety of different lofts (10.5°, 12°, 14°), while the Acer Thriver only comes in 12°. The lofts of the single length drivers play about a degree lower than a traditional length driver, for example a 12° will give you about that same ball flight that a 10.5° traditional length driver would. You can view them both on the single length woods page here: https://singlelength.com/collections/single-length-woods

I asked about 11 wood or something with 30degree. What is your 9 wood loft? Don Murrow
The loft of the 9-wood is 28°
-
Does Pinhawk make a 30 degree/11 Wood ? Regards, Don Murrow
The Pinhawk woods come in 3, 5, 7 and 9, and the lofts are 16, 20, 24 and 28. So we don't have a 30 degree wood, the 28° (9 wood) is the closest we can get to that.
-
What is the shaft length of the woods (I am 5'10")
At 5'10" I would recommend going with standard length, which for the woods is 42" or standard 5-wood length for all of them.

where can i fill out my request for my club to made as my specificifcations want
On the item page there will be a drop-down menu to first select whether you are right-handed or left-handed, then you'll have you choose your set configuration, then it will show the shaft options, and then the grip options. As you choose each option, the next option for you to choose will show up. Or if you have any special requests that aren't shown on the website, you can always call us and place an order at 858-859-8330.

Do you have the 9 wood in left handed??
No, unfortunately the fairway woods are only available in right-handed.
