The In1zone Single Length Iron Series is a simple and common sense approach for you to play your best golf. The In1zone iron set utilizes a 7 iron length throughout the entire set, the only thing that changes is the loft of the club. So as the theory goes, you only need to make one swing versus a traditional set of irons where you have 9 clubs of different weights, different lengths, and different lie angles, resulting in 9 different swings. With these irons the ball position stays the same, your stance stays the same, your spine angle stays the same. The end result is an increase in consistent ball striking, accuracy and distance for golfers of all skill levels and ability. Each hybrid or iron in this set is designed just for the single length iron theory.

You may notice that the loft gapping is slightly different than a traditional set of irons, and this is one of design principles of a single length set which is done to maintain proper distance gaps between clubs. You will find that your distances and gaps between clubs will be very similar to a “conventional” set of irons. With the In1zone single length irons it's one length, one setup, and one swing. Golf doesn't get much easier than that!

Great clubs

I am convinced that single length is the way to go. Especially if you are just taking up golf. learning one swing the right way makes learning way easier. I am a mid 80's golfer and I do not think I will ever go back. I have tried a couple different single length brands and the one thing you have to worry about is the distance differences between clubs. The other brands seemed to be the same on my 8,9, and PW. Not with the Tom Wishon single clubs. They are perfect and I even hit every club about 5 yards further then my last set of different length clubs. They are awesome!!!!

Awesome clubs

Well built clubs, easy to hit, and they're going to help me be an all around better player. Customer service was also amazing.

Going to take some time.

These are beautifully made for sure,I've only got one round with these bad boys so far but I'm impressed so far, I gained 6 -10 yards carry 4-pw and I'm excited to get my game right this summer

Enjoying my clubs

I played 3 rounds with them and each round I’ve been improving. Communication has been very good with representatives from Single Length Golf. Would definitely buy from them again. Thanks

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I have the rest of the pieces to bold a set myself… any chance you’d sell me just the heads I need? No one else has the 4H, 5h, 6-SW heads available. I’d need an extra SW head as well.

Unfortunately at this time, due to extremely limited supply, we are only selling these irons as assembled sets.

  • Do the In1zone irons and hybrids have stainless steel heads?

Yes the heads are all 100% stainless steel.

  • I am trying to configure a choice. i tend to hit a 5 iron at 155. Am a senior with a slow swing speed. Although I am a 39 handicap it usually because I am inconsistent with pars and a birdie of two...then three or four were I usually trash my irons for a 10 or 11 (on a very difficult local course). Straight is essential.

If you're a slower swinger and a higher handicapper, I would highly recommend skipping the #4 in this set and get the #5 as a hybrid, and then go down to either the AW or SW. Another option would be to look at the Pinhawk set as that allows you to go up to a #7 in the hybrids, or there is even an all-hybrid set which is a great option for slower swingers and/or high handicappers.

As for the shaft, I would suggest going with a senior flex graphite in whichever set you get.

  • How is determent the shaft long for my high.

The shaft length is primarily determined by your height, but can also depend on things like your wrist-to-floor distance as well as your stance at address. If you've never been fitted before and don't know what length you need, then I would recommend using the recommendations listed under the "Shaft length" option and pick the one that matches your height.

  • I'm interested in this option I'm a 9 handicap and I'm 6"6 tall. My current set has a 39 inch 7 iron , a 41 in 4 iron , a 37.5inch SW. Driver speed is 105. Can you do a 39 or 39.5 inch set stiff enough. Thank you.

A 39" 7-iron would be +2" over standard length, and yes we can do that. I would definitely recommend going with X-Stiff since the shafts are going to play slightly softer at +2" longer. The FST 115 is a good shaft that can be made in Extra Stiff at +2" without feeling too heavy. The only other two shafts that we offer which have an extra stiff option are the Apollo Stepless (which is currently out of stock) and the Dynamic Gold, both of which are heavier shafts and can become unwieldy at that long of a length.

  • Is this the single length set? Is there a 4 iron available?

Yes this is a single length set where all of the clubs are made to the same length. And there isn't a 4 iron available for this set, but there is a #4 hybrid.

  • Do you have a 3 hybrid 19° in any of your sets?

None of the sets have a 19° hybrid, but both the Pinhawks and Wishons have a 20° which should give you about the same distance as a 19° (maybe 3-4 yards difference).  In fact, the Wishon can be bent to 19° if you absolutely need it to be 19. But if you lower the loft of that club to get a few extra yards out of it, you'll just create a bigger gap betwen that and the next club.

  • Do you offer a lie adjustments on the custom single length sets?

Yes we can do a custom light adjustment up to 3 degrees up or down. To request a specific lie adjustment, you need to first select the zero tolerance loft & lie option under the premium assembly options at the bottom of the page. Then once you add the item to your cart and you're on the shopping cart page, there will be a section at the bottom of that page to add a note to your order. You sust need to include a note requesting a specific lie angle and we will make the necessary adjustment during assembly.

  • What would the cost be for men's stiff steel flex 5-LW length for 6'-6'2"

There is no LW available for this set, it stops at the SW. If you want a set with a LW you'd need to look at the Pinhawk iron set.  https://singlelength.com/products/pinhawk-sl-single-length-irons

And to get the price for the set configuration that you want you just need to go through the options shown on the page, and as you make your selections the price will change according to the options that you choose.

  • Son is starting to play again. His brother gave him Single length Stiff Cobra F7 7-SW. Looking to get a 5 and 6 iron metal shaft with a 3-4 hybrid in graphite.

We don't have any #3 hybrid single length clubs, because a club with that low of a loft (which would be 16-17° since the #4 is 20°) would be virtually impossible to hit at 7-iron length for 99% of golfers. But we do have the #4 hybrid as well as 5 & 6 iron that we can make for you. We wouldn't be able to do it in this In1Zone style that you asked about since the #4 hybrid & 5-iron are currently on backorder for at least another month. But we do have the Pinhawks currently available if you'd like to order those: https://singlelength.com/collections/iron-sets/products/pinhawk-sl-single-length-irons

To place an order for individual clubs you can either call us at 858-859-8330 and place the order over the phone, or email with the specs that you need (shaft type, flex, weight, length, and grip size) and then we'll write up an invoice and email it to you and you can then complete the order online.

  • I am looking at the in 1 zone clubs and the pin hawks which ones are better.

I wouldn't say that one is clearly better than the other, they are just different designs and one set might work better for one golfer while the other will be a better fit for someone else. The Pinhawk does have more options for the set configuration with irons available from the 4 to the LW, and hybrid replacements available from the #4 to the #7. The In1Zone only has the #4 as a hybrid rather than an iron, there is no LW, and the only additional hybrid is the #5. In terms of performance, the Pinhawk is higher launching throughout the set so you'll get a higher ball flight compared to the In1Zone, along with more backspin and a steeper angle of descent. The Pinhawk head is also slightly more compact from toe to heel with a narrower sole. The In1Zone has a larger looking head at address and a wider sole, and the weight of the head is positioned directly behind the sweet spot so they tend to slightly longer hitting on well struck shots. But the Pinhawk will tend to be a little more forgiving on off-center hits.

So as you can see they both have their strengths, they are just slightly different designs with different performance characteristics.

  • Can you get set 6-lw

Unfortunately there is no LW for this particular set, it ends at the SW. The only single length set that has an LW available is the Pinhawk And we can do a set of 6-PW+AW+SW, it just isn't listed on the website as an option because it's not a very common configuration. We could even add the Pinhawk LW if you don't mind that the head doesn't match. The weight and loft gapping is the same so it would integrate perfectly fine with the set aside from the looks. If you would like to order either of those custom configurations just give us a call at 858-859-8330, it's an order that we would have to do over the phone since it isn't available on the website.

  • do you make a lob wedge in the in1zone series .what are the specs and extra cost?how do you add it to the order?

Unfortunately we do not have a lob wedge for that set. The only single length set which has a LW is the Pinhawk. But you could certainly get a Pinhawk LW with the In1Zone set because the clubhead weight and shaft length is exactly the same, it would just have a different head design. But most people play a different style LW from the rest of their irons anyways, so it wouldn't be a big deal to mix those two together. The price on that club starts at $35 plus any shaft/grip upgrades or premium assembly options.

  • Do u make these clubs in left hand offset?

Unfortunately this set is not available in left-handed. The only single length set we carry in left-handed is the Pinhawk, and those are currently on backorder for 8-10 weeks.

  • what would the additional cost for having a Winn Dri Tac midsize grip installed be?

If you want to get Winn Dri-Tac Midsize grips it would be an additional $5/club. To place an order and request a custom grip, just pick any of the standard grips shown and add the set to your cart. Then, on the choipping cart page there is a link towards the bottom where it says "Add a note to your order". You just click on that and list the grips that you would like, and then proceed with placing the order. After we receive the order, we will add the requested grip upgrade and then email you an invoice for the additional amount.

  • I have big hands and need oversize grips. Could you have them installed on the clubs?

Yes, absolutely! When you go through the configuration options, the grip selection at the bottom will let you choose the grip size. The Tour Wrap is only available in standard size, but the tour velvet comes in standard, midsize, or jumbo.

Or if there is a specific brand & model of grip that you would like, just let us know and we can give you a price quote to add them to the order. We carry just about every grip there is, and the cost to have us install them would be much less than if you were to get them with the standard grips and regrip them yourself.

  • When we order could we have you customize the Lie angle. I would need my clubs 37.5 inches in length with a 62 degree lie angle.

You can select the 37.5" length in the configuration options. As for the lie angle, if you need that adjusted then you'd want to select the "zero tolerange loft & lie" option in the premium assembly section towards the bottom, and then on the shopping cart page there's a place where you can leave a note and request that the lie be set at 62° rather than the standard 62.5°.

  • What is the differences between your 3 sets. I am looking for which one is best for what player. For example talk about swing speeds, pliability, handicap levels, distance vs accuracy, etc. That way someone like me just coming on to your website can have an idea which one to pick...

I would say the most forgiving design is probably the Orlimar Intercept, however the drawaback to that set is they come pre-assembled from the factory so there is no customization that can be done to that set. You just get a 5-PW+AW with steel shafts, in either regular or stiff flex, with standard size grips.

Between the other two sets that are custom made to order, the In1Zone and the Pinhawk, the Pinhawk is definitely the more forgiving of those two as well as offers the most options for customization in terms of the set configuration. The In1Zone is going to hit a little longer due to the weight being positioned right behind the sweet spot, however the tradeoff is less forgiveness on off-center hits. So if you're someone who is a very consistent ball striker and you don't need the extra off-center forgiveness of the Pinhawks, the In1zone would be a good choice.

But any level of golfer can play any of these sets reasonably well, as none of them are extreme enough in design towards one of the spectrum or the other to either be better or worse based on your ability level. Each one just has some tradeoffs in terms of how they perform.

  • Do you have them in left hand

The only single length set we have in left-handed are the Pinhawks.

  • Do you make a gap wedge and a 4 iron not a hybrid

There is a matching AW for this set, and it is actually currently in stock aside from what it says on the website. However, as for the #4 it only comes in hybrid for this particular set. There are a couple of options, such as taking a 5-iron and bending the loft 4° lower to turn it into a 4-iron. Then you would just need to mark that club somehow to remember that it's a #4 rather than a 5. The other option would be to pair up a Pinhaw 4-iron with the set. The head is a little different but the loft is the same so it would work well with this set.

  • What is the standard length of your 7 iron

A standard 7-iron is 37" long. So if you choose a longe or shorter length, the set will be that much longer/shorter than 37" (i.e. +1" = 38" length for the entire set).

  • what is the oversize grip size for ladies?

The grips come in 4 sizes, from smallest to largest they are: ladies, standard men's, midsize, and oversize. So there is technically no such thing as an "oversized ladies" grip, if you wanted something larger than ladies you would just have to pick one of the men's sizes.
