The Pinhawk SLH single-length hybrid set offers a unique choice in single-length technology for players looking for the ultimate forgiveness and a higher ball flight throughout the set. These hybrids are similar to the Pinhawk Single Length Iron set in that they are all made the same length (37" standard length), they are all swung just like a 7-iron, and the lofts are exactly the same as the Pinhawk Irons. The difference with the hybrid set is the shape of the heads. First, they have a shorter clubface for a lower center of gravity which produces a higher ball flight and more backspin to increase carry distances and make it easier to stop the ball on the green. They also have a wider body which moves the center of gravity back away from the face, and this dramatically increases forgiveness on off-center hits meaning you can hit it pretty much anywhere on the face and you won't lose much distance or accuracy. Designed specifically for slower swinging golfers such as beginners, high-handicappers, seniors, or ladies, the Pinhawk Single Length Hybrids will make the game of golf about as easy as it gets if you fall into in that category!

You also can mix and match the Pinhawk SLH Hybrids with the Pinhawk SL irons if you wish, for example playing 5-7 in the hybrids and 8-LW in the irons, or whatever mix & match combo you would like - the setup, swingweight, flex and feel will be the same whether you're swinging a hybrid or iron! To order a combo hybrid-iron set, please see this listing and choose your set configuration: www.singlelength.com/PinhawkIrons

**NOTE: Due to the high launching nature of these heads, we don't recommend the all-hybrid set if you hit anything higher than a 5-iron at 150 yards. So if you currently hit a 6-iron or higher at 150yds, you're probably better off going with a hybrid-iron combo set as mentioned above.**

Good, very hard to gauge shots within 75 yards. Very little backspin sadly, great concept but lacks.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Is this American or Canadian currency ?

The default is shown in USD since we are in the United States, but you can select your local currency using the floating button in the lower left hand corner.

  • Are single length hybrids usga approved?

Absolutely! All of the clubs that we sell are USGA conforming.

  • Do you have left handed clubd

Unfortunately this all-hybrid set does not come in left handed. The only set of LH single length clubs we currently have are the Pinhawk single length irons, which does have a #4 hybrid available with the set.

  • So what do you get for the 350.00

The base price of $350 gets you a set with 7 hybrids (either 4-PW, 5-PW+AW, or 6-PW+AW+SW) with one of the standard steel shaft options, and they are custom made to your specs at no extra charge. You can get up to 9 clubs total, each club would be an additional $50/ea, and then you can also upgrade the shafts to a variety of different steel or graphite options. So the total final price will depend on the set configuration that you choose and which shafts you select. As you go through the different menu items, you'll see prices after each of the upgrade options to tell you how much additional it will cost for the set with that option.

  • What does AW mean?

AW stands for Approach Wedge, also sometimes called at Attack Wedge, Gap Wedge, and Ping calls it a Utility wedge. But it's all the same thing - it's the wedge that comes after the PW, and before the SW.

  • What clubs come with the set, are there wedges also?

You can choose from a variety of different configurations, if you click on the Set Configuration drop-down menu at the top of the page it will show you what options are available.

  • What is the difference between wrap and velvet?

The Tour Velvet is a firm rough textured grip, while the tour wrap is a softer grip with a smooth/tacky surface.

  • Do you have a single length driver

We have two different single length drivers, you can find them on the Single Length Woods page. The Acer XV Thriver is on backorder for a couple of months, but the In1Zone is in stock in 10.5° & 12°.

  • Any chance of left handed hybrids in the near future. Also how about lefty fairway woods!

Unfortunately there are no plans for either a LH all-hybrid set or LH fairway woods at this time. We do offer the Pinhawk iron set in LH, and it has a #4 hybrid available with it, and Wishon will be releasing some LH single length fairway woods towards the end of this year or early 2022.

  • Is there a return policy

You can view the details of our 30-day return policy here: https://singlelength.com/policies/refund-policy

  • What is the return policy

You can view the details of our return policy here: https://singlelength.com/policies/refund-policy

  • Can I get hybrid 4-5-6 and irons 7-8-9-Pw?

Absolutely! For that configuration you would need to place the order on the page for the Pinhawk Iron set, and then you would choose that setup under the set configuration option. https://singlelength.com/products/pinhawk-sl-single-length-irons

  • The length of the shaft will probably be too short as I am 6’5” tall. Do I have an option?

These clubs are custom made to order so you can select whatever shaft length you need (from -2" short to +2" long). As you go through and make the selections for the set configuration, shaft choice, and flex, you will then see the option for shaft length. For someone who is 6'5" tall we would recommend going +1" over standard length, but you can pick whatever length you feel that you need to get the proper 7-iron length for your height.

  • Can you add oversized grips?

Yes you can get oversized grips. The grip options are at the bottom of the configuration menu. First you need to select the style and color, and then the size. The tour velvet is available in jumbo, but the tour wrap only comes in standard size.

  • are they graphite shafts?

Yes you can get them with graphite shafts. The base price shown is with steel shafts, and graphite shafts will be an additional $7-$10 per club depending on the shaft. They are custom made to order so you just need to go through the different options and pick what you want, and the price at the top of the page will update as you make your selections.

  • What shafts are in stock? Is the i drive shaft the only one available in tour lite Graphite?

The shafts that are currently available will be shown in the configuration menu. The graphite shafts currently available are the Acer Velocity, iDrive Tour, iDrive Tour Lite, and Graphite Design G-Tech.

  • What about single length hybrid iron club head covers?

We only carry one style of hybrid covers and they are quite bulky, they are meant for a set where just a few of the clubs in the bag are hybrids. A full set of hybrids with those covers on them in a bag wouldn't really work as it would be extremely crowded. We have found that this set works pretty well, but it's something you'd need to buy separately on Amazon since we don't sell them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DIHDBZI

  • Can the lie of the Pi hawk hybrids be adjusted?.

No, unfortunately we are not able to adjust the lie angle of this hybrid set. But the lie of the hybrids isn't as crucial as it is for irons because the hybrids have a slightly curved sole rather than flat like the irons, and they also have a slightly curved face with bulge & roll like a driver or wood which offers some correction for a lie angle that is off slightly.

  • No left handed sets

Unfortunately the Pinhawk hybrid set is only available in right-handed. We do have the Pinhawk irons in left-handed and they have a #4 hybrid available with them. Pinhawk Single Length Irons

  • Can you hit a ball off the hosel (shank) with these hybrids, or is the hosel above the club face?

The hosels on these hybrids do have a design where they incorporate a small amount of "offset" which extends the face area towards the heel and raises the height of the hosel slightly. But I suppose on a very bad swing it would still be possible to shank the ball off of the hosel.

  • Love my pinhawk irons. But I’m wondering, can I buy a pinhawk SL four hybrid on its own? If so, how much would it cost? Also, I see the hosel size on the hybrid is .370. Is this the same as the pinhawk SL irons? Thanks for your help!

Yes, you can absolutely purchase a #4 Hybrid by itself. You would just need to contact us with your order number so we can look up the specs for your previous order, since the #4 hybrid will obviously need to built exactly the same, and then we can write up an invoice and email it over to you for payment.

As for the hosel, it is .370" just like the rest of the set and uses the exact same shaft as the rest of the set. Some people will opt for a graphite shaft in the hybrid because that's how most hybrids are traditionally made, but since once of the main principles of the single length concept is that all of the clubs feel and swing exactly the same most people will get the same shaft in the hybrid as the rest of the set.

  • Can I get midsized grips

Yes, you can choose a midsize grip as part of the product configuration. Once you select your grip then it will give you the option to pick the size that you want. The midsize grip is only available in the Tour Velvet grip, the Tour Wrap only comes in standard size. However there are some wrap style grips that we do have in midsize if you would prefer that, the upgrade charge for those would range from $2-$5/club depending on the grip. If you have a specific grip in mind just let us know what it is and we'll give you a price quote with those grips.

  • Possible to get a set of pin hawk single length hybrids, but just 6-pw? Graphite regular flex -.25 inch? Price? Thanks

Yes we can do that, it would have to be a custom order that we write up for you manually. You can either call us at 858-859-8330 and place the order over the phone, or you can send an email to sales@singlelength.com with your request. Just make sure to include the exact configuration - set makeup, shaft choice, flex, length, grips, and any premium assembly options - and then we will let you know what the cost would be. After that if you would like to proceed, we will write up the order and send you an invoice via email for payment.

  • Can I get a left handed set of hybrids?.

Unfortunately, the all-hybrid set is not available in left handed. The only left handed set we have is the Pinhawk iron set, and the only hybrid available in that set is the #4.

  • may i get 6-pw,aw,sw for 350 instead of 5-pw,aw?? thank you

Absolutely! You would just need to select that option under the set configuration dropdown menu.

  • How much for combo set of hyrids

The combo sets are shown on the iron set page here: www.singlelength.com/pinhawkirons. If you click on 'Set Configuration' at the top and scroll down you'll see the options that have hybrids + irons, along with the prices for the various options.

  • Warranty for hybrids

All of our clubs carry a 1 year warranty against defects. You can view the full details of our warranty policy here: www.singlelength.com/warranty

  • R these grafit shafts & what flex

These clubs are all custom made to order, so if you want regular flex graphite shafts then you would just need to select that as you go through the available options. First you need to select the set configuration, then choose a shaft, then select regular flex.

  • What is the swing weight of the Pinhawk single length hybrids configured with IDrive Tour Lite shafts, senior flex at 36.5" length and standard grip?

The swing weight with a standard weight (120g) shaft at standard length is right about a D2. So if you make the clubs -1/2" that will lower the swinweigh by 3 points, and then going to a shaft which is 60g lighter will lower it an additional 6-7 points. So without adding any additional weight to the heads you would end up with a swingweight of about C2-C3. We can add weight to the heads if you need a higher swingweight than that, we can add up to 10g with a tip weight in graphite shafts, and the swingweight would be raised by 1 point per 2 grams which means we could raise it by as much as 5 points to make it a C7-C8. The additional cost for the tip weights is $3/club regardless of the amount of weight added.

  • Can you adjust the lie angle?

Unfortunately, due to the short hosel length on these hybrids the lie angle cannot be adjusted.
