The Orlimar Intercept irons are all about developing consistency. Game improvement features include enhanced perimeter weighting by focusing weight where it is needed for golfers to experience a more solid feel and with precision accuracy. FlexFace Technology in the #5 and 6-irons help boost distance and ensure proper distance gaps and trajectories throughout the set. Being all the same weight, length, lie angle as a 7-iron, there is no need to change your posture, stance or ball position with the different clubs. You only have one setup, one thought process, and one swing for every single iron in your set.
  • Shaft Length: 37" (standard 7-iron length)
  • Shaft: 95g Steel (Stiff or Regular Flex) or 65g Graphite (Regular or Senior flex)
  • Grip: Orlimar Tour Velvet (standard size)

Great, till shaft snappings

Really enjoyed the one length set I purchased and have been using for a little over a year. However, my 8 and 9 irons have broken at end of shaft at club head, within 2 weeks of one another. I notice rust on the shaft end where broken. Afraid to use other clubs. Gonna donate and order one length clubs from another company. Too bad, have lost confidence in the clubs.

I'm sorry to hear you've had a few of the shafts break. If you noticed rust inside the broken shafts that is a sign that water got down inside of them at some point, and that can certainly cause a steel shaft to break. It isn't an indication of defective shafts or poor quality clubs, even the most expensive steel shafts on the market will rust and possibly break if they get water inside of them. The good news is, if you like the clubs you can get those 2 clubs reshafted for around $20/club. You could either find a club repair shop near you to install a comparable shaft, or you could send them back to us and we can install the same shafts that were used for the rest of the set.

Still trying to get used to them but they are showing promising results.

Nice clubs, still getting the distances of the lower irons figured out. Like the GAP wedge a lot. I think these are nice clubs and should start seeing better results after a few more rounds. I replaced grips which is the one thing I saw on other reviews and went with a Golf Pride oversize.

Great clubs I would buy them again

I love the clubs. The only thing that I would change is the grips.

I don’t understand why anyone would spend $600+ on cobras when these clubs do the job just fine. I’ve seen a great change in my golf game once I got used to single length clubs.

I wish they had a four iron and a sand and lob wedge to make it a complete set.

These clubs hit the ball extremely high when you’re using anything below a 7 iron. And the 5iron I’m hitting it close to 230 yards. Which is awesome. On my old set I could never hit my long irons. I never used a 6,5,4 iron in my old set and I can honestly say when my driving is off. I rather take out my 5 iron then my hybrid

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • What is your return policy

You can view the details of our return policy here: https://singlelength.com/policies/refund-policy

  • Looking for 1 length irons that do not have super low center of gravity. What are my best options? What is swing weight of 2" longer steel shafted R flex clubs?

Are you looking for that so they don't launch the ball too high? If that's the case I would take a look at the In1Zone Single Length Irons, they are probably the lowest-launching single length set that we have. They do have a somewhat wider sole, but they also have a weight positioned higher up on the small flange on the back of the head which raises the COG and prevents the ball flight from being too high. They will launch several degrees lower compared to the same lofted club in any of our other sets.

  • What is the lie angle?

The lie angle of this set is 62.5°, and they can be bent +/- 2 degrees if needed.

  • I own a full set but need a 4 iron (right men's) and sand wedge

Unfortunately the Orlimar Intercept iron set does not offer a 4-iron or SW. If you want a single length 4-iron & SW you would need to go with the Pinhawks. We don't sell individual Pinhawk irons on our website, you would just need to call us over the phone to place that order.

  • I tend to naturally hit the ball high. Of all your iron sets which one would have the lowest ball flight?

I would say the lowest launching set that we have is the Integra I-Win, followed by the In1Zone. The Pinhawk & Orlimar irons are very high launching, while the Wishons fall right about in the middle.
